I love it that this image, that I had created over seven years ago, has started to become the cymbal of shining a light on dyslexia. As some of you know. In the late eighties I was diagnosed with dyslexia. I was fortunate to be able to attend Landmark school 1991-2000. In 1991 I also started taking classes at the Acorn Gallery School of Art. This is where I learned that I hyper focus and that I am able to break down an image sequences to create a piece of art work. Both Landmark and the Acorn Gallery changed my life. In the early 20s my twin brother Jason and I created a painting together to give to Landmarks middle school. When I graduated high school, 18 years later, I surprise the high school with the lighthouse.

What a beautiful tribute to one of your sources of success. You are humble and so very talented!
A small token to what I received. Gratitude is something I’ve learned as I get older. Thank you for your kind words.
